Nestled in the Judaean Hills, 35 miles from the
Mediterranean Sea. Jerusalem is unlike any other city. This "City of
David," as it is sometimes called, is the seat of three monotheistic
faiths, and it is a living monument to cultural and religious pursuits
that are indelibly inscribed in world history.
This city has intrigued artists for centuries. Thus,
when it was requested that Omas design a writing instrument collection in
commemoration of the city's 3,000 years, the richness of Jerusalem
provided ample inspiration.
