Montegrappa dedicates
this limited edition to the third centenary of St Petersburg's foundation
(1703) and its name recalls the particular phenomenon that has made this
fascinating city famous throughout the world: the white nights.
Montegrappa has reproduced on the body of this fine writing jewel some
peculiarities of St Petersburg with the low-relief engraving technique and
hand application of precious enamels: the details of the ironwork fence of
the Summer Garden and of the Mikhailovski Garden decorate the body, the
city's coat of arms is reproduced on the cap.
