Great
artwork with different layers of the lacquer on the pen to give three
dimensional outlook of the mother-of-pearl inlay. The mother-of-pearl
is painstakingly laid. Layer by layer the artist laid the "Sakura"
shaped mother-of-pearl inlay. It is then polished. The whole process was
repeated over and over again to give the shiny and three dimensional
outlook. Truly a piece of art on the barrel.
