Pelikan Souveran Limited Edition Maki-e Five Lucky Bats Fountain Pen is limited to 123 pieces worldwide with individually numbered and signed by the Maki-e artist and an 18K two toned gold nib.

The Maki-e Five Lucky Bats crafted in a variety of advanced Maki-e techniques. In addition to the use of the Taka-Maki-e and Togidashi-Maki-e (a burnished and raised style that can give the artwork a three dimensional appearance) also include the utilization of precious materials such as raden shell and kirigane gold flake. As an additional symbol of the lucky, five golden four-leaf clovers complement the motif consider[ng to be a lucky pattern which brings five kinds of luck: a long life, wealth and respect, health and mindfulness, virtue and grace, and to die without worry and regret.
