Omas Arte Italiana Milord Rose Ebony Wood with Silver Trim Fountain Pen is truly unique and handmade from the rare and precious wood from Brazil. During the 18 and 19 centuries, the French and English cabinet makers used this wood for inlaid works or veneerings. It is a compact hardwood and a pale yellow colour, which heightens with the seasoning, become pinkish red. During carving it exhales an intense floral essence that last for years. Even today it is essentially used for decorative purposes, delicate inlaid works, precious jewels cases, and repair of ancient furniture.
