Nakaya Dorsal Fin Version 2 Ishime Aka Tamenuri Fountain Pen

The Nakaya Dorsal Fin Version 2 in Ishime Kanshitsu Aka-tamenuri finish is one of the most captivating examples of this pen style. The Dorsal Fin shape, combined with the textured Ishime finish and red Aka color, make this a pen that creates a bold visual statement. The cap and barrel are hand-turned from natural ebonite, while the Urushi finish is derived from a natural sap which is processed to create a tough, durable lacquer. Dried Urushi powder is used to create the stone texture finish on the surface of this pen.
