KODAIMONYO (AN ANCIENT DESIGN) FOUNTAIN PEN

DANI INTERNATIONAL CORP. was founded in 1974, and is a privately-held, independent California corporation. DANITRIO is our division of designing and manufacturing fine writing instruments & accessories. 

Densho Kodaimonyo (An ancient design) 

Densho is another ebonite pen with Maki-e designs. This time, we started Densho with the simplest Maki-e design, followed by Hira Maki-e and the slightly more complicated Togidashi Maki-e, then to the dimensional Taka Maki-e, and finally to the most difficult Shishiai Togidashi Maki-e using many standard designs.

Kodaimonyo (An ancient design). The base is heavily sprinkled gold powder, and the design uses beautiful Tsukegaki technique and finished with Togidashi. The gold powders and gold mixed with silver powders from #1 to #8 were used on the bird and flowers.

The pen has the eye dropper mechanism. This mechanism is normally seen in large pen. DaniTrio has done it on Densho size for pen lovers around the world.

Title: Dento Kogei-shi. Born in 1951.

He learnt Maki-e from late Kashigi Hozo, and modern art from Kakinoki Akira, and became Dento Kogei-shi in 1994. He mainly exhibits at Nihon Sogo Bijutsuten. After spending eight years traveling the world to see different types of arts, his enthusiasm for Urushi art was renewed after all, and he returned to Wajima until today.
