The calendar was established approximately 760 years after the founding of Ancient Rome, so this edition is appropriately limited to 760 pieces worldwide, and its edition number is engraved on the filling handle. The cap presents a sundial, with the clip representing the baton of the dial. The barrel is gold-plated over ruthenium and presents the 12 months divided into the four seasons, each panel depicting themes from everyday life in the Middle Ages. Each is fitted with a bold 18k gold nib, embossed with a sun in rhodium.
