		The Red Parker Duofold pens are a 
		symbol of peace and friendship and also celebrates the Centenary of the 
		fountain pen. 
		The Red Doufold pen was used by General MacArthur to sign the Japanese 
		Act of Surrender in 1945 on the deck of the battle ship Missouri This 
		Act ended the Second World War.
		In 1972, the then President of U.S. Mr Richard Nixon paid an official 
		visit to China. He gave a Parker pen to the President of China as a 
		gift. That marked the start of the friendship between China  and 
		U.S.A.
		It can be said that the Red Colour represents warmth, joy, happinese, 
		respect and life force.
		
		The barrel is made of exquisite red resin and 23K gold plated trim. The 
		nib is engraved with
		the chinese character 'Fu'and Duofold Parker 18K 750.
