Cobra,
the fourth Yukari size limited edition after the successful launching of the
White Tiger in 1996, Panda in 1998 and Bald Eager in 2000. The Cobra limited edition consisted of a worldwide
production of only 700 pieces. Created entirely by hand, individually
numbered and signed by a master Maki-e artist.

celebrate 2001, the Year of the Snake with a dramatic presentation of
art-The King Cobra Limited Edition fountain pen.
Throughout the world,
people are enthralled by creatures that terrify. One of the most awesome and
deadly snakes known to man is the King Cobra. Growing to lengths of eighteen
feet, the King Cobra is the largest of a species native to Asia and India.
When attacking, half-inch fangs inject a toxic venom cocktail that reeks
havoc with its victim's nervous system. One drop can immobilize and kill in
a matter of minutes. When threatened, scared or excited, the King Cobra will
spread the ribs in its neck to display a fearsome looking hood. The
snake stands tall and ready to strike in this intimidating posture, but ever
cautious, the King Cobra attacks only in self-defense, to guard its young or
in pursuit of prey.
Even with its aggressive
reputation and lethal defense, the King Cobra is revered and perceived as
godlike by some societies. They are intelligent animals praised in eastern
cultures for their power, fertility and parental prowess. For 200 1, Namiki
has produced a stunning King Cobra Limited Edition fountain pen in honor of
the year of the snake. Created and signed by the hand of a master Maki-e
artist, only 700 pieces of The King Cobra Limited Edition have been
produced. While it is unquestionably a work of art, this fountain pen is

used. The fountain pen has never been dipped nor inked. Comes with original
